Nobody Sells Pinion Seals!?

so im halfway through regearing my front axle and i notice that my pinion seal is bad...no biggie (spring broke) so i pop it out and start to call around...NOBODY carries it!

WTF!?

anybody got some help here? its for a 10bolt front...

ive tried everywhere online...this is my DD so im f*cked if its really not available!

Did you try a Napa or Carquest? The lesser chains (Checker, Kragen, Autozone, etc.) don't carry many seals, but they can order them for you

The dealer should have it too.

I got mine at autozone. If all else fail's call a good driveline shop. They should have them .

napa is cloesd till toorrow morning so im going to call them first thing...

part number should be 19273 i believe. i got one yesterday and was gonna change it but seems as though my friggin bearings are bad too. i tell u what if it's not one thing it's another

i know the feeling...the part number from napa is 19277...atleast thats what theyre website is telling me...

haha we sahll find out when i call them tomorrow.

well apprently they have a big one and a small. thought maybe i had the small. IIRC guess it really does me no good without the bearings anyhow

they say it's for a 8.5 or 9.5 or something ring gear? i have no idea what i have. i know a little bout turning a wrench but don't have a measuring tape for eyes

if you have a 10bolt its an 8.5 im not sure what the 9.5 is...we are talking front correct?

if your talking about a rear...then 8.5 is a 10bolt. and the 9.5 is a 12bolt...

10 bolts are either 7.5" or 8.5". The ones in K5's are 8.5".

12 bolts are 8.875"
SF 14 bolts are 9.5"
FF 14 bolts are 10.5"
