Ok si I finished my flex-plate and starter install, went for a test drive all good. Neighbor came by to see if I could pull his tractor out fo the mud, not problem. locked in the hubs yanked out the tractor no worries. On my way back coming down the hill I hit may brakes a little harder than normal and hear a noise that sounds like when the fan blade hits the shroud but not as loud or fast of a rotational noise. I thought it was the hub so I unlocked and test drove, finding the same noise. Checked everything I could think of including brakes and can not find any issues. Is it possible that the hub went out but only makes noise will braking going forward (as described) even when unlocked? Any ideas would be great, Thanks.

If it sounds like the fan on the shroud, (plastic-y),
I would assume the hub(s)... Cuz they're plastic.

Just pull em and look. :dunno:
Test drive with the hubs out.
