noisy AC compressor

lately my AC compressor has been squeaking. sounds like i've got crickets under the hood and its driving me crazy. its done this once or twice before, but went away with a little wd40. now nothing works. is there anyway to fix this without replacing the pump?

the clutch bearing could be bad and ready to fall out. do you have metel shavingss coming from it? if so its toast.

i was looking at it closer today, i think it might be the idler pulley thats right next to the compressor. sure hope so anyway.
