Noisy leaf bushing, i hate it

You must be talking about the spring wear/friction pad thingys. They can be bought from Deaver Springs for $.50 each. Basically like a plastic/teflon piece that goes between the end of the leafs.

Are you talking about the pad between the leafs or the actual bushings where the bolts go through?? If the latter i had a friends that did the same thing. Some lithium grease and it stopped it so far

I put the leafs in about 4 years ago. They have seen mud and watter though

Yeah, it could be the spring eye bushings in the spring itself or the shackle or with rust and grit from muddin' could be the leaves rubbing together at the ends. Are your bolts going into the bushings on the spring eye and the shackle frozen with rust? Might be best to jack up your rig and take everything apart bushing wise and lube it all back up or even use new bolts and bushings if need be. Also the friction pad may need to be installed or replace between the leaf ends. Easiest thing to do is turn up the radio louder and you wont hear the squeeking anymore.
