none...

I will get some by this weekend i Hope.

If your k5 has a body lift these shafts will not fit. You need different ones and those are harder to come by.

I will post up by Saturday afternoon if I did get some.

Thank you
Ernie

My shortbed K10 is all suspension lift. As i understand it (after reading all 29 pgs of the XJ tech) i should be able just to swap this in pretty easily. I have an 1986 SWB K10 pickup with a 4" lift on 35" tires all new stock steering components and no body lift.

Yes sir. They come ready to install. I do all the work. All you have to do is take your off then install the one I send you, tighten the bolts and you are good to go.

Sounds good. I hope you find some shafts at the junkyard. Keep me/us posted. Have a good one.

Whats the deal with a body lift? I think my stock one only ended up extending a total inch and a quarter with a 3 inch BL. Surely the xj shaft has that much slip in it.

I sold one a while back to someone who did have a body lift and it did not fit. If you want one and you have body lift I'll sell you one but if it don't fit then your on your own. I don't make that much money on these to pay to send another one out.

I go to the junk yard a lot and these are plenty where I go. I do it more as a favor and beer money.

No notching or filing of the column side. I send them out ready to install. Just unbolt yours and bolt this one on. That's it nothing else you need to do. I do all the work.

BY THE WAY...

I will be getting more by Tuesday I will let you know how many I received.
Thanks
Ernie

Ok, I got 7 of them and they are the good ones.

If your still interested let me know.

Thank You.

Ernie

They will go out Friday 11/26/10 in the morning 2-3 day priority mail.

Want another one. Paypal address? Also, just out of curiosity why wont these work with a body lift? The truck Im using this on doesn't have one, but I was just wondering.

I have come across two styles of shafts. One is about 1.25" longer and the ends are a little different. This one would be better with a body lift.

fyi: I'm not a seller, just someone that's come across a couple. I ended up selling the longer one, not sure why, but I use the shorter one actually for my no lift blazer. Soon to have 1" BL, so hopefully it still works. Considering the angle, the shaft is really only going to extend maybe 1/2", if that. Not good at geometry lol. I'd rather have more shaft length inside, but after the BL I may only have 2" left inside.

should have no problem fitting an 86 k5 and a 78 3/4 ton right? Wonder if it would fit on my 2wd as well...

Do a deal on two of them shipped?
