none...

gimme one for my 78 chevy fullsize...

now you say just unbolt my old one and bolt this in???
i looked at each pg here and sorry but i dont usually mess with the steering shaft... so i know the top has a bolt... but how do you replace the bottom with that rubber piece and 2 bolts????
thanks man..

also who to paypal..... pm me...

The bottom end of the shaft slips over the shaft of the steering gear box therefore eliminating the rubber of the old one. That is why this is better. With time the rubber wears out and you get a lot of slop and the steering wheel all over the place. This tightens everything up a lot.

The xj shaft has isolaters in it to prevent the vibes from going to the steering wheel.

The top and bottom have a bolt that holds it in place.

i'm looking forward to doing this nice little steering modification. i got plates on her now, gotta start somewhere.

They have all gone out.

Everyone should have recieved shipping info from USPS in their email.

I have 2 left if anyone is interested.

Thank You

got the tracker info a few days ago, thank you. i'm sure i'll have the shaft before USPS updates the shipping info

you scared the crap out of me dude....

got it today... i didnt know it would be here that quick... there was a hole in the side of the box... i was able to put my entire thumb into it so it was a big hole..

i thought it was a canon lens i just bought... PHEW!!!!!!!!!! thought i had a $1200 paperweight!!!!!!!!!! (well i actually didnt pay $1200 for it... but still wasnt cheap...)
opened box with my heart thumping.. and saw metal parts taped together.. :haha:

i was relieved!!!!!!!!!!

stupid USPS still ain't updated label for mine. and they wanna run health care?........told ya. prolly have mine tomorrow.

Got mine today as well. But i dont have the plastic inserts on the shaft. Does anyone know where i can get some? I dont want this thing vibrating all over the place or feeling every ant i run over on the road.

huh... what plastic insert?
I know these were knocked apart to get them in the box..... so you mean the insert in the bottom shaft where the 2 notches are?
mine is really tight.. dont think there will be any play.... :dunno:

plus that little play if any will be alot less than the rubber by the pump...

note to self... hmmm rubber and pump shouldnt be used in the same sentence... and i dont like rubbers hence why i wanted one of these!!!!!!!

No the vibration isolators on the male part of the shaft itself. Since there is no rubber at the box anymore any road bumps will be translated to vibration at the wheel. I read the shaft thread on here and thats what some users were complaining about
