Greetings and Happy Holidays!

Just purchased an '85 K5 with 98K miles on it. I'm the third owner. The second owner recently installed a GM crate motor (I'm deciphering the part number now to see which one) and took really good care of the rig.

I looked at 8 or 9 Blazers and most of them were trashed, hacked up or were just plain wore out and I wasn't interested in a project.

Anyway, just sayin' Hi and here's a pic or two or three:

No rust, dings or dents anywhere. All the gauges work, including the clock! A couple of small issues to fix one being the driver's door does not unlock using the power doorlock switch. The passenger side works. Also, there seems to be a short in the signal/wiper stalk. If the wipers are on (and when aren't they in Oregon? :D ) and you hit the turn signal, they stop until you joggle the stalk.

All in all, I'm very happy to have found this one.

I'm looking forward to learning more about this rig here!

nice man...welcome...i rewired my ENTIRE truck(never gonna do that isht again) and still for some reason when i turn off my a/c...my wipers go one time...no biggie...i've learned to deal with it. congrats on the find...looks to be in good shape too...and lucky you, you have a 700R4 trans(overdrive) i wish i had one... now GO WHEELIN!!!!!

Thanks for the welcome! I need to go find some service manuals for this rig. I think I'll be needing them. As good a condition as it is, it's still 23 years old! LOL

Dude, nice rig. Looks identical to mine cept mine is an 88. Where is Oregon are you? Pm me your location.

Thanks, Muddytazz...I did a bit of looking before I found this one up in Corbett.
