I have found an NV4500 out of a 4x4 diesel chevy truck, it has the 6.5 diesel engine. I am wanting to put this tranny behind a SBC 350. I was wondering if the bellhousing to engine bolt pattern was the same? I have never messed with an NV4500 so this is all new to me. I did a search and did not find the answer. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks. Dustin

noob question about NV4500 from a diesel truck

Gas vs Diesel the only difference is a harmonic dampner on the mainshaft. There is a difference in the transmission to bell housing pattern 92-95 and 96 onwards.
