Noob Question...Is this a Good Deal?

I am seriously considering buying this rig. Its a 1987 GMC with only 59,300 original miles and a rebuilt 6.2L. Its already lifted, and the owner says its in mint condition. He's asking $6,500 for it...that's really more then I wanna spend, but you do get what you pay for and it seems really nice. It is the color i want, and it just looks awesome. Is this a good Deal? Should I jump right on it, or should I make a lower offer. I'd really like to pay in high $4000s or low $5000s.

59,000 original miles but the 6.2 was rebuilt? I call bullsh1t somewhere there. If it was mint and well taken care of that 6.2 should have gone 300,000 miles.

It looks nice, but I highly doubt the mileage and/or the status of the 6.2.

Definitely not worth the $6K IMO. Check the classifieds here and you'll see what stuff is currently selling for.
