Noob Question: Which way do rear stock shackles face???

As I said, Which way do rear stock shackles face?

I removed both rear shackles while swapping in new rear springs. The old bushings were rotten. I had to order a new set of rear shackle bushings. I got them today and now I can not remember which way the shackles face. Is it curve to the rear or to the front????

Curve as is the flat area connecting the two sides like a "C" faces rear
