I know this has been covered many times. sorry in advance.
I have a 87 Jimmy 350, 700r4. I have a set of 3/4 ton axles w/ 4:10 gears that I'm going to install and run 35's. I need new exhaust. The po took out the y-pipe and put duals on but stopped at the rear axle.
My question is do I find a y-pipe and put single on or buy a new dual and run the right way. I have to do it the cheapest way possible.

Also I will be pulling my 20' boat with it so I dont want to rob hp.
Thanks
Bryon

You will get the most power with a single 3" exhaust (that is also what came factory on 87-later blazers).

Thanks for the reply Scott.
I think I will talk to the local exhaust shop to see how much it would cost or search salvage yards for a y-pipe.

Have your local exhaust shop build you a Y pipe. The stock Y pipe will interfere with the front driveshaft once lifted.
