I'm still trying to decide what I want to get for my birthday on April 1st. I would love to give ORD a call and get some 4" TC springs and a shackle flip. I know that alot of you have moved your rear shock mounts and used ford shock towers on the front. How much extra flex does this give you? Does anyone have close up pics of how you have mounted your shocks differently than factory? Will it really give me enough extra flex to be worth the trouble?
Thanks,
James

do you really need serious flexing abilities driving through the mud?

I will do some trails as well, and yes, sometimes flex can help in rutted out mud holes. I'm serious leaning toward TC EZ 4" springs up front, a raised steering arm, DIY flip in rear, stock rear shock mounts, ford front towers, and Gabriels at all 4 corners.
thanks,
james

Anybody got a part number for ford shock towers? brake lines? conical washers and whatever else I would have to use with a raised steering arm?
thanks,
James

Only thing on your list there I don't have is ford shock mounts. Also a home shackle flip and ORD sway bar disconnect and Brake line kit from ORD. No problems sofar in SC Red Clay other than few gallons water in carb and still came out of mud hole.
Flex has yet to be tested fully
