Noobie question

Well put new dizzy in today got truck to fire, but cant find the timing marker. It is a 1985 305 k5, I am thinkin it is at 12 oclock since I cant see it anywhere else.

I have the same problem with mine so i just set it by ear.

It should be visible if you look down behind the waterpump from above. Real handy to get too.

Thats what I figured so far it is by ear....so glad I put a regular hei in there instead of the esc hei dizzy...

yea i have the 305 also, you have to look down from 12 oclock. right behind the water pump. its a lot of fun, not
