I am looking for someone in Northern Colorado, Fort Collins/Loveland in particular that might have a set of 6 lug Chevy/Toyota rims with tires smaller than 34". I don't really want to buy them but I would be willing to rent/borrow/trade for a day or two of use to pass the emissions test.

I would buy a set but I am looking to upgrade my axles in the not too distant future, and my wife really doesn't want another set of rim/tires taking up space.

I know it is a long shot but let me know if anyone in the Norther Colorado Front Range has a set...let's make a deal.

Thank you,

Thank you,
I wish you mentionned this a week earlier. I just came back from my 3 trip to Loveland, I have a set of six lug 33" and I might still make a trip that way, but now chances are slim.
I have no problem lending them to you for a while, to get it smogged for a few $$ for my trouble.
If you don't find any by the time I make it that way I will get in touch with you.

I appreciate it. If you happen to be back in the area let me know. I have my feelers out via a couple other of resources. If I find some I will reply to this post. But if you happen to come this way in the next week or so let me know.

First off I got me emissions test complete and all is good. Passed with flying colors.

WyomingK5....they test your vehicle on a set of rollers like a dyno. The way it is set up limits the size of tires they will allow. I convinced them to try and if it did not work I would drive away no harm no foul. They were very nice and made it work.

Just for anyone else in Colorado with a gas burning vehicle this is the way they will test your truck. I might have caught them on a good day or perhaps I just have a way with words. The rule is normally 34" or less on tire size. They can fit 35" tires but it took a large rubber mallet to get automatic wheel chocks to spread apart far enough. So don't expect them to test 35" tires unless you have a charming personality like me. :)

I had mine done in broomfield co. They just used a separate bay that was old school no rollers. Just call around and find one that will do it for you. Now we need to just meet up and go wheeling.
