NOS 205 t-case shifter knobs *BRAND NEW!!!*

I'd love to buy a couple, but they are too new for my junk. Are these what GM had been selling for the 70's trucks too?
 
No, these knobs are like the mid-80's on up to '91. They're heavier than the older plastic knobs like in the 70's. These will still fit just fine on the older shifters, too. They look cool with the yellow outline around the Neutral.
 
I guess what I meant was, if you walked into the dealer 15 years ago and asked for a knob for a '78, would this have been what they sold you? I'm just trying to talk myself into it.
 
I understand and yes, it is what you would get but for the actual '78 year, the knobs would have been different than what I have.

All of the knobs I have are NOS and still in the original GM boxes. Your '78 knob would look like the one on the far left whereas the ones I have are on the far right. I have a few pics of other 205 knobs for comparison here:

I promise you won't be disappointed in these new NOS knobs if you did get one. Or two. Or three. Or more.
