NOS D60 front & 14bolt rear

How the hell do you guys come up with this stuff. Insane.
 
I take it you think that's out of line, then tell me what you would have in one if you totally and i mean totally rebuilt a front 60. AS far as the rear, the no spin alone will cost you $400 new by itself and then you have to pay to have it installed, and even if you put it in yourself your time has to be worth something. I would much rather swap the whole thing then go to all that work. So don't tell me that $1500 for a new 60 front is too much, I have 8 more just like it and i can just hang on to them until they really get scarce then i'll be able to get what they are truly worth.
 
I think $2000 for a pair of those is more than fair. I paid $2000 for my set. and they need work. Granted, they're locked and geared. A D60 alone is worth 400-1500 all day long used in my opinion.
 
Well i don't think so either, i'd like to see them go to good homes, but i cannot give them away. I'm hardly making anything on them with the times being like they are.
 
did you say you have 8 of the sets? i am interested but i have to wait till a buddy pays me back the 2k he borrowed from me in order to justify the expense to the boss. hopefully you will have them in early feb.
 
Are they all crated and what are the separate prices, what do you want for a 14 bolt and is it set up for one ton or 1/2 3/4 ton mounts I'm guessing 1 ton as these are probably military surplus?

I have 8 fronts, and 1 rear, forgot to clear that up, sorry my mistake.

Yes the fronts are crated and i sold the 14 bolt but i have another with only a few thousand miles on it and yes it is a 1 ton version. I am asking $500 for it.
 
yah, 2k sounds like a fair price. I'd be all over it if i was working right now.......
 
Is the gearing on the D60's 4.56 also?
How much would you want for just the Front Dana 60 assuming the 4.56 ratio?

I thought of a few more questions
Does the front D60 have manual or auto hubs?
This would be a straight swap from a 10bolt front on a '79 blazer right?
