I have located a guy in PA with a NOS frame for 1978 -1991 Blazer. He says he bought it in 1986 he has receipt from dealer. He said he paid $2,000 for it he is asking for $1,000 but said make an offer. :doah:

If I had the money I would try to get it. It is the big item on making a complete NOS Blazer. I could see it now going to title agency and having the only 2012 Chevy Blazer K5 mileage 0 (zero) :haha::haha::haha:

Thats pretty cool. Put a steering brace on before its too late, haha

and New Old Stock is just that, stuff that was made by gm, stored somewhere, basically new original parts.

thats a first in all my years on this forum, an NOS frame...

Me want it real bad too! I have tailgate, fenders, rear quarters and rear floor dang it. I need to get a bail out from the government.

We could start a donation pot but it may not get big enough in time to buy the frame.

Someone frome CK5 should have that.

LOL nawww I can live with out it but I got an email from him saying he would take $800 for it. I am debating using my Colorado 2009 trip money to buy it. However I planed to look in to housing when I went back to Colorado this summer.

It would be nice but thats what dreams are for.

It is like 500 miles round trip from me.

Why couldnt this be for a shortbed pickup. I would by it in a heart beat.

Just build a really short bed. All you got to do is shorten the bed both in front of and behind the wheel well. Lots of stich welding and bod work and measuring and time. Oh and dont mess up cuz it will ruin the bed.

:haha::haha::haha::doah::doah::doah:

The frame has found a new home at the cost of $800.00 :D
