OK, I know this guy that buys and sells really old iron and recently bought a project car from him. I was there today dealing on an old 283 and noticed he had a couple of old square body trucks too. Nothing to get excited about, but I did take him for $50 betting that the one we were looking at was a 1980. He insisted it was a 1979. that $50 is warming my wallet right now. :waytogo:

Anyways, in passing he mentions a suburban he bought that came with a sh1t ton of NOS parts. He is emailing me the list later and I will post it up in full. My understanding is:

all four doors
front fenders
full bedsides
tailgate
Inner door panels
full rubber seals

I'm sure there are quite a few more small parts. All in GM boxes.

So, he does know what it's worth and originally told me he wants to sell it as a lot. I told him that might be possible, but if he wanted his money out of the parts he should prepare to sell it to multiple people.

The good news is the exchange rate is very favorable for those of you in the good ol USA. Roughly, once the full list is up, if you see a price, subtract about 20% to figure what it's cost is in USD.

The somewhat downside is this would all be shipped from Canada, so there is that. For those that care about having NOS stuff this could be a good opportunity. For those that don't there is LMC of course.

Anyways, I told him I would try to see if there was any serious interest in this stuff. I'll put up a full list as soon as it hits my inbox.

So were all the parts for a Burb? Quarter panels are nearly impossible to find. Rear wheel housings would be an amazing find.

Yeah. The original guy bought all this stuff for a 90 or 91 Suburban. I haven't got the list yet, but I know roughly what he spent at the dealership for this stuff was north of $6000 in 2000. You'd think it just would have been easier to buy another 90 or 91 burb in good shape back then...

Depending on interest I can get pictures of the various boxes and parts. It's all currently stored in a dry 30' box van body. With the weather being cold and snowy I wasn't gonna ask him to pull it out so I could gawk at it.

Suburban !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, I got the go ahead to put pricing up. All the prices will be the invoiced price from the GM dealer in 2000 in CDN funds. I've offered to go there and snap pics of the larger items that are sheet metal so condition can be verified and shown. Hopefully it's somewhat accessible.

I'd be very interested in the 2 rockers and the sash (think it's for the bottom of the tailgate glass). And if there's rear wheel housings ( listed as "panel" perhaps) then I'm very interested on those too. And possibly the sill (rear body crossmember that tailgate bolts to ?).

I won't be able to get pics this weekend as the guy is away for a swap meet about 6 hours south of us. My earliest opportunity to go there and get some pics would be next week Tuesday. I'll make a note of those parts and see if we can get some pics to verify.

Door.............15571644 $268.00 (front pass. door shell)

I would take all of the above items if he's willing to separate and we can get shipping figured out.

Do you still have these NOS parts?

I don't know what this guy still has. He was in the midst of a nasty divorce last I heard and I've lost touch.
