Not Sure What This Is

I am trying to figure out what these 2 things are. My Blazer was stolen, and luckily recovered, and my gas pedal feels funny. It feels like the distance to push the pedal down is allot shorter than before. I learn things about cars as i go so any help is appreciated. Thanks.

that's the cruise control diaphragm linkage.

Remove that clip and remove that rod from the linkage and drive it. See if that makes a difference, it looks way out of adjustment.
