Not sure where I can get a couple of parts: Coolant Recovery Tank and Air Duct

Hi Guys,

I'm having some trouble finding a couple of parts online (pick and pull isn't an option in my town).

I'm looking for a coolant recovery tank and air duct for a 1989 Fullsize Jimmy. LMC Truck is usually a good source, but it doesn't seem like they have either one of these. They have a coolant overflow kit, but that seems to be something else - http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/csb/full.aspx?Page=61

This is the closest thing I can find, but the mounting holes are different, and I'd like to avoid drilling more holes if at all possible - http://www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts/TC/3384-06005952.html

Then as far as the air duct goes, they unfortunately don't list 1989 as a year they offer it - http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/csb/full.aspx?Page=64

Try Classic Trucks for the air duct. Thats where I got mine. Do a search on their website.

Classic parts is where I bought my coolant recovery tank and it was OEM if my memory is still correct.

If stuff being sold by an aftermarket company is a GM piece, you can almost bet it's still in production BY GM.

I'm sure there are companies out there with small stock piles, but if you see something being sold that is a GM part, take the time to get the GM part number and check it out online, see what you can get it for yourself.

Coolant overflow is on it's way from LMC. The Air Duct is proving to be harder to find as nobody seems to want to carry one for an 89. I think I can probably repair my existing one though... the PO burned about a golf ball sized hole in it somehow.
