If you take something apart, put it back together as soon as possible because you WILL forget stuff!!! I took my np205 apart almost 4 weeks ago. Today I got it back together. It probably took 4 times longer than it should have Had to make a couple trips inside to use the interweb as well. Sorry not much tech here, just had to vent a little

been there done that haha. at the time you tell yourself that its really simple and straight forward, then a month later you second guess the order parts go in and such. glad you got it done without damage

I disassembled my NV4500 in early 2002...and put it back together with a ton of new parts in 2006. It was a bit of an adventure, and several parts went together only to come back apart because I got the assembly sequence wrong. It only took me 6 months to get it back together...

LOL...

All the breaks i took were for my wallet. I got the tranny for free and still didn't save any money.

At least I can add "Rebuild 5 speed" to my resume now.
