Possible in the market for a pto unit for a 203 or 205 pto rear faceing output shaft . Need a beefy unit not a light duty cast aluminum unit .

Plan to power a dec size pto winch setup .

Let me know what you have . Thanks .

This one came off an NP205 I believe. I'm planning to put it on my dump truck but not sure if it is the correct one yet for the manual transmission. If not I would let it go.

Case is 6 bolt 8 bolt or 10 bolt . . Its the gear pack inside that lets it work with each SPECIFIC trans or tcase .

So you can only use it on what it was built for or find all its info if the tag is on it and readable still . Then if its to old good luck finding parts to swap it over .

Any more pics ? And it looks like its a direct mount hydro pump on it . . . I need just a pto and shaft out the back as my wrecker unit is mechanical drive .

If it came off the 205 it won't work on an sm465.
I might be interested in it.
I have one from an np435 which I can't use since I don't have one.

The international has a direct drive 5 speed, I'm not sure which model yet. I'll get more pics tomorrow of this PTO.

I have one and I don't see myself ever using it.

well mark hooked me up but it was NOT for a 203 or the 203 he was thinking it was from .... he is taking care of me tho on the deal 100% :saweet:

so were back to square one again . still need one please .

looks like chelsea pto the more common red units like he posted use a 23 tooth geat for the 205 and a 23 for the 203 case . but not sure if its the same across the models of there units .

This is what I have from a NP205. I had to cut the end of the cable off to get it through the firewall. I found the tag loose in the cab but it looks like it is for the PTO.

thanks for posting but its a direct mount hydro pump setup i cant use for my combo . i need the shaft output for a yoke and the cost to convert and if you can get parts makes this a not for me item .

@pblaze725 here is the info i got in a email on your unit . knowing this how much do you want for it ?

If nobody has touched that pto since 1972 then it would fit on a Right Side application with the shaft Low Center of the opening pointing to the front of the truck .

Or

On the Left Side application with the shaft High Center of the opening pointing to the front of the truck .

This pto turns 89% of the engine rpm on either side.

If the output shaft or the gear that sticks out and meshes to the transmission gear is loose by more than a few thousands of an inch don’t waste your money on it . It’s been obsolete since early 80’s .

If you do put money on it you will still need a spacer, part number 7-A-093 and a Stud Kit part number 7170-3X plus some gaskets to help shim it up to the transfer case.

This stuff is available from your local Parker Chelsea distributor.

@kennyw the big stainless tag looks to be the hydro pump info . not the pto info . then that aluminum little tag is the np205 build tag . if the price is right i might go for this as i just got a pto ramsey winch and could maybe convert it to hydro winch but the pump might not be the right spec who knows yet until one of us does some digging . but then we need to know the pto output ratio to know the pumps input rpm to calculate the flow .

looks like the pump # is good . what is the width of the middle section of the pump ? not the end sections . as the gears for the pump = flow rate and this pump could be built with around 6 sets of thickness gears . between the black lines on your pic i just edited .

were looking for a tag on just the pto unit for its specs . judging by its layers of slime it might be under all of it . but dont get to crazy cleaning some tags can be wipped off of info to easy . the good ones are stamped in .
