NP-205 help

[SUPER'BURB]

First off I searched and found nada, so thanks in advance for the help.

My T-case is leaking at the tail shaft to main housing attachment point. I tightened the bolts up and it is now worse.

Do I need gaskets on my T-case (NP-205) or just some RTV and what should I torque the bolts to?

you can take that whole housing off if you undo those bolts. BUT WATCH OUT! about 12 needle bearigns will probably fall out. its a remove and replace type of deal, but just grease those needle bearings so they stay in place.

then use some good rtv on the tailcone side and get em snug with a 9/16th wrench. good n tight.

also you have two bolts that have something in front of them. the top bolt has the breather, then the other one has the speedometer in front of it.

you need to do these a little at a time and last to get the housing off all the way.
