Its raining here in Maryland right now. They are also calling for snow tonight. Go figure. Last night I pulled the Front output shaft assembly out of my Transfer case to swap it for the 30 spline shaft. I wanted the flat style yoke. I would like to put it back together tonight. Problem is my truck is parked outside about 20 feet from being under a roof and out of the rain. I want to pull it in tonight to finish it up. But it won't have the front output shaft assembly in it. Will it hurt anything if I move it with out the front ouput shaft installed there. Its not going far. I really can't see how it would. I don't beleive there is anything supported by this shaft. None the less I want to make sure nothing is going to go wrong when I move it inside.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you talking move under it's own power, or physically push it inside? Either way, you'll be okay.

It will be moving under its own power.
I thought it wouldn't hurt anything.

Cool, That means I'll stay dry tonight.
