Np 205 rebuild help

Im attempting to put my np 205 back together and had acouple questions. 1st is the the correct orientation for the front output shaft assembly?

I've never seen a front output on an Np205 that looked anything like that.

That's a synchro front output.

Order of assembly looks good from what I remember on those.

Thanks guys, any tricks on getting that into the case? Ive tried with the case on the side , i tried using some petroleum jelly to try to hold parts together. Tring to place that synchronization while sliding it in is diffcult.
