Np 205 rings

[ QUOTE ]
I would consider getting them on looks alone. Makes a 205 look a lot cleaner.

just kiddin with ya man, those are pretty bling...I remember hearing about one guy that broke one, IIRC he was running a cummins and the bearing just jumped ship.

yeah, I havent really heard of anyone breaking a retainer either. Anything can be broken tho, i suppose. Looking at my HAD flange setup, and the thickness of those retainers, I'm not sure I'd run em on my t-case. There is VERY little extra room to work with between the HAD flange and the t-case stuff to get the bolts that hold the driveshaft on. How much thicker is that retainer than the stock one... or is it the same thickness and I'm just smokin crack? lol!

The HAD flanges are designed to be as short as possible to maximize driveline length in the more critical applications where this is an issue. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

They are the same size/depth wise.Just not all machined out. And yes MJ i forgot to go back and grind that down. I usually do. I did on th 14 b and the 60. Gives it a better apperance

I am also a little curious how one breaks the retainer.

Same here. For all the 205s out there, it doesnt seem like it has it been a problem?

ok, well, that answers that question. I'd run em on my 205... just gotta buy about $5000 worth of other stuff higher on the priority list first! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
