On my 203 I have on the floor the guide like in the image below. Did they also make one for the NP 205? I'm finishing my swap and would like to install one if they made them.

Only pattern guides I have seen for 205's have been on the knobs.

My old truck had one. It was a 79.
205 knob, sorry its blurry.
And no, there never was a pattern guide on the boot ring or anywhere other than the knob for the 205.

Maybe I'll just make my own pattern guide to fit on the floor boot. It is just a piece of painted aluminium with some letters stamped. I could pattern it from the 203.
Actually they did come with one. It is a cheap plastic version that doesn't use the same boot. I prefer the metal plate that came withthe 203.

that photo is from a NP208 tcase and not a 205
OK thanks I'm learning.
They did make them in the late '70s out of aluminum with raised letters.

No, I have a waiting list of people looking for them.
I think my buddy has one too. I think he said it was NV4500/205, just saw it in his shop monday.
Sure would be nice if I could find one locally for a decent price!
