So i hear the 205 is a better t case. would a 205 bolt up to my transmission? its the 3 speed with granny gear. what mods would i need to do?

Yes you will need one from an 85 or newer.
Your adapter could work but it doesn't have a spot for the shifter.
If you want one and can't find it local pm me.
