I know i already asked a similar question, but how good is the np 208 transfercase? strengths and weakness, is it gear or chain driven, please provide me with all info on this transfercase since i have one in my truck.

The 208 is an aluminum chaindrive part-time case. Pretty stout case that will hold up to some abuse. You have to keep in mind though that is still aluminum and still chaindriven. Aluminum might crack easier and the chain might/will stretch. If your're gonna be putting a lot of torque to it then it won't last as long as say a 205.
