does anybody now what the wheith is of a np 208 transfer case? a friend of mine wants too rebuild it and take it from its car and rebuild it (is it a do it your self yob?) and do you need special tools? and were too buy the master overhaulkit? we are living in The Netherlands soo Import is the best option for us i think.

They weigh about 80lbs (apprx: 37kg).

you can rebuild it yourself with basic hand tools. I have rebuilt mine on several occasions. weight is about 80-90lbs when drained. I got my parts from www.drivetrain.com
