im thinking im going to stick with the 241, its stock, apparently there is a 4.1 kit for it and i can get the SYE as well... and i dont want to wait for the 3.1 from JB conv for the 205 even though its already twinsticked and sitting in my garage beside the 241......hmmmm
whos running a 241 with 38 swampers?? yah or nah?

I'm running my 241 behind my built big block and turning 40s just fine.

Theres nothing wrong with a 241. Bone stock it's got a lot lower gear and its a bunch lighter. Keep it full of fluid and it will hold up to a whole lot of abuse. No it's not as strong as a 205 and yeah there is some risk of grenading your 241 whereas with a 205 its pretty much one of the last things on your list you worry about tearing up. In my opinion for 99.472% of us a 241 is plenty sufficiant. I run 39 inch boggers and i think my 205 is way overkill for the type of wheeling I do. A 241 would work fine for me. Plus they are super easy to rebuild.

So what kind of wheeling do you do? If your not binding your axles up in rocks every weekend I wouldn't have any issues with running a 241.

that settels it then, 241 it is, im more into trails, mud occasional rock session nothing crazy though... have either of you guys heard of the 4.1 kit for it?
thanks for the help!!
