NP203 modified to part time?

Hello, been awhile since I owned a K5 so I'm a bit rusty and I've never owned one older than a 1985.. Just picked up a 1975 with 350/350TH and what I believe is a NP203 as it matches what I've seen as far as pics go. Situation is the shifter has a NP205 pattern (4L-N-2H-4H) and its got hubs (free-lock). The guy didn't know much about the vehicle so no help there. I believe the 203 probably has a part time kit in it. Question is, I figure I throw it on a rack, put it in gear, and if the front tires don't move, it's part time. Any other suggestions? And I'm sorry if I'm i the wrong area. Thanks

Post a picture of the transfer case.

Is the shifter a round rod, of a flat sided handle?

That is an NP203 shifter handle. That is not an NP203 shifter knob.

Thanks Martin. It didn't feel like an AWD like I would expect and considering it has hubs I'm going to investigate further once I get it on a rack. I am pretty sure that this blazer didn't come factory with these hubs:

It did not. Pretty common aftermarket modification.
