Where can I buy the plastic bushings for the shift linkage on my NP203? Mine have cracked and disappeared, and now the linkage rattles when driving. LMC doesn't have them, I think...any thoughts?

Pretty sure I've seen them in the Dorman/Help! section in parts stores. They weren't specific for the application or anything, so of course the employees would just give you the typical blank stare.

Mine is currently using rubber firewall grommets because that's what I had in my toolbox and I wanted to go wheel. They've been in there for a year or so :doah:.

I'm going to throw out a shameless plug for our 203 twin stick since the factory 203 single stick sucked so bad. Unless you have plans to ditch the 203 all together in the next 2 hours, start saving for the twin stick. The parts do cross over almost 100% to a 203 Doubler system also and I can't imagine that you couldn't sell a used 203 twin here if you ditched that system all together.

x2 on the twin stick kit and if you have part time kit now go for it.

i have a twin stick in my plow truck with 205 and love it.

also a tripple in my offroad toy with ord 203/205 kit.

Yeah, I have the part-time kit in it, plus did the DIY twin stick conversion a few years back. I think I'm just going to run with a few grommets for the time being, till I can save up for the ORD setup.

You might be able to use door hinge bushings ,if there are some the right size available,HELP and Dorman have a good selection of them...or try a good hardware or industrial supply or bearing store, they might have some flanged bronze bushings that would work....I had a sloppy shifter linkage on a vehicle that had egged the hole out for the shift rod,and I could find no replacement one,so I brazed a 3/8" shaft collar to the worn linkage to restore the tight fit to it...used it as a bushing..even a peice of 1/8" brass pipe might be suitable..
