has anyone ever converted the np203 from full time 4wd to 2wd. I found this conversion kit in my garage I have no idea where it came from.
Pretty much everybody......That is not a 2WD kit, its a full time to part time kit. Lets you shift into 2WD when 4WD is not needed. Lets the 203 work like most of the others.
Supposed to save gas and wear and tear on the front components.
Not sure how much gas it saves, but its got to help some.

I had mine done on my first Blazer (74) when they rebuilt the 203, It helped with turning radius and wear on the tires. I didn't do it myself so can't help you there.
