I'm picking up a NP205 to swap into my 74 Blazer. My first question is will the cross member have to be swapped too or are they the same for the 203 and 205.
Second question is can someone that has an NP205 with 6 inch lift and 12 bolt rear and dana 44 front tell me their drive shaft lengths. My blazer is my daily driver and I cant afford to have it down for long so I really don't have time to install the transfer case and then have the the shafts made. I would like to be able to have the shafts made prior to installing the transfer case. Hopefully I can do the swap on on Saturday.
Thanks for the help.

Crossmember should be the same between the two. Don't forget that you will also need the adapter and also the proper shifter for the 205. The driveshafts could get ugly, what works with one persons lift may not be the same that works with yours. I would wait to have driveshafts made until after the t-case swap is done and you can measure accurately for what YOUR situation calls for.

I've been thinkin about this myself. Do the same drive shafts from the 203 work for the 205?
