Hi, I have what i believe to be a 1980 GMC k2500 pickup. I have a sbc 350 and th350 in it. The rear end is a 14 bolt gm and the i think the front is a dayna 44. It does not have manual lockin hubs. I am loooking at converting it to part time 4x4. Does any one know of a kit for this specific truck to do so and which setup of locking hubs i need. All the descriptions say that they are for 1973-1979. I am very frustrated and any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot

Are you sure you have an NP203 in your 1980? I would suspect that you have an NP205 with auto hubs. If this is the case, you simply swap out the auto hubs for some manual hubs. Somebody with a later model rig can pipe in on this one.....

Its not an '80 if its got a 203. All '80 model year had 205s regardless of engine and transmission combination. And it'll be a 10bolt if its an '80. You likely have a '79 or earlier. the vin # can be decoded to confirm the year.
