Besides input shaft, is there any other difference between a 203 out of a 74 3/4ton or 75 k5? I know the rear yoke looks a bit different. I just got a Doug nash p/t shaft just wondering if it will work on either one.

They should both be the same, the rear yoke might be bigger for the 3/4. GM didn't have a 4wd 400 back then, they used either the 465 or 350....

The K-20 might have a wider chain . Some did others did not - don't know what was the reason for it.

most 203s are pretty interchangable. I have heard that some say the early ones have a different chain but I have never seen a different chain in any that I have taken apart I have even taken different years front center and tail cone and put them together worked just fine
Didn't the old ones have a different housing also. I think it was a solid piece.
