Np205 27 spline coupler

Just got my new 27 spline coupler from advance adapters

27 sp both sides to mate with th350

Original had a snap ring in the middle, this one does not.
It has 2 large grooves and a rib

Does this design omit the ring?

Only thing that snap ring does it “center” the spud on the shafts. If you have 2 correct sized snap rings, I’d add them personally

The grooves are very wide and dont look like snap ring grooves

Yeah, im thinkin that center rib is like the ring
Splines can't pass it cuz it's solid
Just wanted to check on here cuz I'm a tcase swap noob
