I think you two might need to back up and make sure your both thinking this is the same part. The guy giving it away is calling it a front output shaft (connects to the front driveshaft ), the guy wanting it is calling it an input shaft (connects to the transmission).

Huh? You are correct, I'm giving away the OUTput shaft of the transfer case. But I forgot to ship it before I left town so I'll have to ship it Monday. Sorry about that! I got the check ok though.
