so, developed a leak, a bad one from the front output shaft area. put in a new oil seal and it's still there. it seems to be coming right from the center of the yoke, like from behind the retaining nut. noticed there's a rubber washer right behind that nut thats been chewed up by the splines, anyone have any tips on where to get another one? chevy dealer doesn't have it

can get new splined rubber washer from places that sell parts for these like off road design.

or grab a tube of black rtv and fill in the area once yoke is on and before washer is in place. then tighten nut and wait for it to cure and fill up.

dont forget that the seal adaptor to case is clocked to line up a drain notch to hole in case for extra oil to drain back to case and not over work the seal.

i have seen lots of these on wrong and or pluged up with rtv .

Please let us know if you find one...I'm in the East Valley...I looked/called but didn't have any luck. I used RTV and haven't had an issue since. Worked like a charm!
