I have the weaker 10spline front yoke 205, is there an adapter out there to convert to the round flange style yokes? Instead of the 1350? style U-joint yoke.

Thanks

Chris

you can change the shaft and yoke, but I havent heard of a different yoke you can put on the 10 spline.
changing the shaft is fairly easy , and someone around you probabaly has a old T-case they are not using, if you can grab a ford or an IH one, they have 32 slpine shafts, also grab the 4 bolt seal cover also, they are different to.

The later GM 205's around 1977 and later used a 30 spline front output that had more options for yokes or flanges. You can swap in a Ford 32 spline front output and then have the most choices for yokes or flanges. The swap is real easy and can be done with the t-case still in the truck.

Okay, It's in need of a rebuild anyways, starts making a funny tick at about 2k+. Guess I'll try and get the shaft and swap it when I rebuild it.

You can check with ORD too... I think they might have the stuff you'd need to change your front output over.
