my 71 has a 1310 yoke on the np205. I need to find a 1350. Should most 3/4ton 70s trucks with 205s have them? Are there spline count differences on the rear output? Will 203 yokes work?

All rear outputs of a 203 and 205 are 32 spline. 3/4s and of course 1 tons will have the 1350. GM no problem, but Ford is weird. I had a set of axles out of a 1 ton Ford, 60s front and rear, both yokes were 1310. I have an HP60 out of a 78 3/4 ton, and that has 1350s on it. Its a Ford thing, I don't understand. Don't even bother looking at a Dodge, they use some funky tiny joint, smaller than a 1310.

well i found a pair of 1350 yokes from a divorced ford 205. Anyother quick Q, will by some crazy change the 205 yoke fit the 14ff? Didn't wanna pull the 14FF yoke off but thought if it did I could go to u-bolt strap retainers instead of strap and bolts.

The 205 yokes wont work on the 14bolt,your gonna have to pony up and buy one of the new style ubolt yokes.

Ford used alot of 1330 series yokes on there 205s which at first glance looks like a 1350 because they are the same width but have a smaller cap, might want to double check that.

thought it was worth a try. Will check on the cap diams. was thinking that ujoint fit but am second guessing myself now.
