So I'm putting this out there as a feeler thread. From what I understand there are a lot of people out there who have cracked adapters, had doubler bolts loosen, ect. Most of these people I've talked with agree that you need to support the rear of the NP205 in some way. Would any CK5ers be interested in a product like this?

**moderators, I dont plan on selling anything, im not a vendor and dont plan to be. Just posting this to generate interest for an existing vendor**

I've all ready designed and built one. I'll go find the pics in my build thread.
Here is the pic. post 315 in my build thread. Link

Kert at DIY4X has the template and all the other parts are his also. I had Kert cut it out for me.
The U shaped part bolts to the rear output housing, with a bushing under it, supported by another cross member that will have to be purchased.
The other piece bolts in place of the stabilizer rod the bolts to the side of the 205 case. it then protrudes down to another bushing, which mounts to the same crossmember spoken of before.
Weight supported from the rear, and torque held from the side. Both parts are 3/8s plate. you would need to procure a few bolts that are a little longer for the rear output housing, and re-use the two bolts from the stabilizer rod.
I forgot to mention this is for a CLOCKED FLAT 205 INSTALL. but, could be made to work with a non clocked 205 case also. it would just sit at an awkward angle.
AND if it wasn't clear, you have to weld some of the pieces together WELD with a welder.

I know there are other people who have done this themselves but havn't seen any vendor support for such a product.

And I "designed" with your bumper center :flipoff7:

I'm not sure what $$ Kert gets for it. I paid him for the steel and his time to cut it all out. Call and ask him.
