I have an adapter housing (The little case part that bolts the tranny and transfer case together) From a SM465/NP205 10 spline combo. Can I use that same adapter housing to bolt together a SM465/NP205 32 spline combo. Thanks John

The 85-91 NP205 that came with a 32-spline SM465 is a round pattern. Its adapter is ~10" long, but the input is ~2" longer than the input on the 80-84 NP205 (TH400 type).
If the 10-spline sm465/NP205 adapter is ~8" long there's a good chance of it working.
If the 10-spline sm465/NP205 adapter is ~8" long there's a good chance of it working.
