I have a fixed yoke th350 version 205 and was wondering if I could use the parts off that to convert a th400 205 that has a slip yoke.

thx

Yup! The swap will happen with no problem.. Just check your seals and bearing before reassembly, and I might have a couple gaskets I can sell ya, since I had to buy a whole rebuild gasket kit from Nappy.

Nice!

I might hit you up for some of those seals, how much was the kit?

i haven't got the th400 205 yet so not sure on the condition of everything there, but the seals in my 205 are good...

thanks guys!

only thing i see is you might need a 1350 yoke in the swap if you are going bigger axles and shafts. most th350 205s were 1310 joint not 1350

The seals in my 205 were good too, but after swapping a new rear output would you use the same gaskets? The gasket kit I got was $57, and I only used like 4 seals out of it. I figured I would have spares if I ever twin sticked it or something.
