Np205 with a NP208 flange seal help

I have a NP205 that I did the ford 32spline output on and have a 208 Flange that I was going to use instead of a yoke. The problem is, that the inner diameter of the seal is too big to fit the 208 yoke. The 208 seal is 1.87" ID and the 205 seal is 2.03" ID.

So I guess I need a seal that has an OD of 3.064" and an ID of 1.87"

That would be correct. You can buy a seal by dimension only so the only other dimension you'll need is the width of the seal. If you can give me all of the dimensions i'll get into my catalog and give you a part number.

Hey, I have sort of a related question. I am considering swapping my 208 for a 205. What I am wondering is does the flange off of the 208 fit on both the front and back of the 205? Are they the same spline counts? Right now I'm running a 208 with a flanges on both drive shafts and I would like to keep it that way!

only ford or divorced 205 comes factory 32 spline front output.

you will need to swap the 32 spline front shaft in. its easy to do.

go to the tech section and find my 203/205/4l80 build up. full break down and reman of the 203 range box and 205 with 32 spline swap in .


all rear 205 are 32 spline. fixed or slip. you will need a fixed yoke style and the seal like posted here.
