1 1/8" is the size....tried to get that off with a 1/2" rachet and pipe 
Broke an extension bar
, burned my arm on exaust pipe(they f***in hot allright for only a 5 min. drive 
) 
So i went back to the olf folk's house and put a 600 ft. lbs impact wrench with 120 psi of air gettin in it...
