np208 input shaft swap

I have a rebuilt 208 for a sm465 and want to convert it to 700r4. Any tranfercase gurus out there that can tell me how difficult it is to swap? Special tools? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

Youll have to disassembly the case, but its easy to do. If you have a Chiltons they do a good job of explaining it.

I dont belive it will just slide out, you think have to disassemble the case to swap the "shafts"

Yup , case must come apart . It is easy though , did it with help on the first try . I still have the breakdown in my members pics here /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
