I searched. Does anybody make, or have you ever heard of a plug that goes into the rear output shaft. If you snap a driveline or need to take it out on the trail, Is there a plug for that? Then you could use just the front driveline to get out? I am just curious. Thanks guys!!

People have used a cut up 2 liter coke bottle and then taped it to the t-case in an emergency and then drove on the front shaft. This is where a SYE (Slip Yoke Eliminator) comes in handy.

Gotcha, Thanks! How that new job you got? Your on the computer now. Thats good!!

A handfull of tool makers sell more or less universal plugs meant to be put into the t-case for servicing reasons. They dont stay in well enough to be sure it would stay in while on a emergency trip back to the trail head

OK, I was just wondering. I have never had that problem, yet! i guess thats another upgrade. Well, Might as well change transfercases because I would need a different length driveline if I did a SYE. So what the heck. Change that also. Thanks.

IIRC in the strange trail fixes that work i believe i read about duct taping dixie cup to the tail end, youd lose some fluid, but not much. Those 208's hold a rediculous amount of fluid anyhow.
