Any recommendations? I'm having a hard time finding complete kits from names I recognize. There's a Timken kit, but I think it's just bearings and seals, no gaskets or small parts.

Gaskets during a rebuild are typically just RTV.

Okay, another example is loose needle bearings I see in some kits, and I understand there are pads or something that can wear down. I want a complete kit.

If you have some time, I like to tear down first, inspect everything and then order parts. Getting everything (including all the bearings) upfront is pretty expensive and much of it won't need replacing. If there is any part you need but didn't order you will wait for parts anyway. Plus I feel like even name brand bearings are getting worse and sometimes the old ones in there are perfect and better quality than what you would swap in. Some of the bearings will last about forever as long as they have lube.

I agree. I have no complaints abut my 208, I may end up doing the minimal to install the SYE. I'll see how it looks when it comes down.
